Hey-lo!
I know it’s been a minute since you heard from me. I’ve been quiet for a while because I haven’t been feeling very inspired to write about anything (look at me allowing myself creative rest who is she!).
Buuut I have an idea now that I am feeling some sparks about.
Introducing: I Had An Audio Affair With Series
When it comes to audio and me it as as Hozier said —I fall in love just a little, oh, a little bit every day with someone new. And I want to share that with you.
Starting Halloween to Valentine’s Day, I am planning to run an ‘I Had An Audio Affair With’ series. The series will publish twice a month and will share an audio affair, be it a podcast, audiobook, background score, or even a jingle!
Each month, I’ll be writing one post and inviting a guest to write another.
Here’s where you come in.
I want to consider new industry professionals, writers, and creators to take part in this.
Would you/anyone you know like to participate?
Currently, I have about two spots up for grabs. I have a few friends from the industry participating. Oh I am SO excited to read their work and share them with you.
Nominate yourself or a friend in the comments below!
I hope you’ll enjoy reading this as much as we’ll enjoy writing it.
With joy,
Shreya

Hi! The org I work with, PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs, produces a teen mental health + well
being podcast called On Our Minds, with two teen hosts and over 40 other student contributors each season — this season's teen hosts or the staff members who lead this process would be interested in participating if it's a fit!
I've been a romance podcaster for years now, and a former choir girl, and I have a ridiculous obsessive crush on Thomas Newman's score for Gillian Armstrong's Little Women. It's such a tease, because many of the fragments in the score only last 10 minutes? But at my past job I listened to that dang thing over and over, and it never failed to transport me somewhere beautiful. I love your newsletter and if I can help you at all, I would be glad to do it!
